An inquiring mind wants to know.

They're my "sit, chill, and work feverishly at a high temp", companionship music.

Nope. Thinking back I can't remember if I discovered sublime before or after Bradley's death. But it was within that time frame.

I am having trouble figuring out how you sit, chill and work feverishly? Working feverishly is definitely not sublime music to me lol. More like pass me the bong. :D

Once I start head bobbing and rocking and rolling, there's no bong time!

(plus the Army analyzes my pee every few months :D)

I had the opportunity to watch them perform live a year before Bradley's death in May of 1995 at the "After Dark" club in Honolulu.

I was stationed in Pearl whilst in the USN and was so stoked they came and performed.

It was pretty decent. They played with Tantra Monsters and someone else, if I recall. I wasn't quite as big a fan then as I was later on - was more into the NOFX style bands at the time. NOFX, Pennywise, etc.

I've probably got some pictures stashed away somewhere from the show. I'd have to look, since this was before cell phone cameras.

    Nice man, sounds fun.

I remember going to see Nofx in 2002 in Providence RI at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel (I think?). 16 year old me thought it was a good idea to crush up caffeine tabs and snort them...SMH, worst headache ever, but Fat Mike was funny as hell.

    LMAO!

I know a guy in high school that randomly just chopped up an altoid and snorted it.

There's part of me that seems to remember I did a line or two of the altoids myself (and back then I probably would have), but I'm not going to say that I did 100%. He wasn't the only one at the table to do it. Being around this kid, we all could have been in big trouble.

Not just a one time thing, but we would randomly spray oven cleaner onto aluminum foil, roll in into a tight ball and roll it on the ground. It makes smoke. We did this a lot lol. No clue why oven cleaner was in the tech theater classroom. Today, probably get charged with a felony.

Sorry to derail your thread my man!

    ^You crazy kids!

    My fave...

As I wrote on the "What are you listening to thread?" some time back, when I first heard these guys, I was like "Whoa!" They didn't really sound like anything I had heard before. Unique vibe...T

Nice. I remember going to a ton of concerts in Providence in 1993-1994 when I was at Submarine school in Groton, CT. I believe I saw Marilyn Manson at the time there as well with Thrill Kill Kult. Love Providence.

Much later, around 2000 or so, I saw NOFX with Rancid play together at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. That was an absolutely awesome show.
