anybody looking for a cheap 308 GT4 project?

It just kills me what some people think is "minor rust".

 

Maybe they should donate this car to the local high school auto shop class.

 

This is a parts car, at best...For all those yankers on ebay wishing a phone call, operators are standing by to take your money! For the 1,000,000th time, there are no cheap Ferrari's!!!!!!

 

looks like about $45,000 for a GT4 by the time its done. looks like this one would need to be bought by someone who can do their own body work and a used engine installed. It is on the fence of becoming a parts car

I asked which valve and it was a exhaust! Damn those sodium valves. I know why the engine blew though the front camshafts are in backwards! HA.

I know my GT4 is not perfect but I have not seen many for sale that are in as good as shape...I know they are out there which makes me want to work harder!

The trick to rust on these cars Im not sure everyone gets is no water, no rain, no hose, no rust!!!!!

Depending on how far you want to take it, it's not that bad. Yes, it will require a thorough stripping and a whole lot of sheet metal replacement, but there are people out there that can do this themselves. It may ultimately cost far more than it could ever sell for, but so what. For a good DIYer, the journey such a project as this would be priceless.

 

I think I might make very good use of the car - I need a number of those parts.

Is anyone else going to bid on this, or is it just me? If you're going to outbid me, I'd rather know and just be assured that I can buy the parts from you when you buy it! "If" of course you plan to part it out. Otherwise... Hmm... happy bidding!
