    Hi fellow rarist,

I'm thinking of sending my vehicle for a major service at an indie shop. Initially I was planning to do it myself; however, the advantage of having maintenance records and not making any rookie mistakes made me decide to have her worked on by somebody else.

I.m planning on sending it to RMT Motorsports in Yorba Linda. (But first let me take a selfie ; ) hehe). But first I would like to run it pass you guys for references. Anybody had their vehicle serviced there?

    Thanks guys!

I had my CS clutch and timing belts done by Randy, owner of RMT, and also my friend had his F430 clutch done there as well. I strongly recommend his shop and very reasonable price.

Randy services all of my vehicles. Including my 360 and Diablo. Cannot be happier. He always keeps me well informed and the service is stellar. Search my input in other posts. You will see I have be referring others to RMT.

Looks like positive notes are left here. Anybody else? Also, do they provide loaner vehicle?

Is he a Ferrari technician doing other exotic cars as well or vice versa? Thank you!

Do these guys have all the necessary diagnostic equipment necessary to work on modern Ferraris? This is an issue I've dealt with in the past.

Consider if you will that your car may be there for 3-5 weeks waiting for parts from Italy. Do you still want a free loaner car? Me too!

This is the main consideration. There are plenty of service items that a good wrench can handle though. If I had a bunch of fault codes I might not consider a place other than the dealer but replacing worn items or routine maintenance stuff? You bet!

This looks promising. Looks like RMT is the way to go for me unless this thread went full 180 with it's feedback.

Randy does indeed possess a computer to access these cars. I have seen it in use on my car many times. No loaner car, but always a ride home. Randy has even made house calls when necessary. Please know Randy is Ferrari trained and was employed by Ferrari NB before going out on his own. I actually met Randy while he was still at Ferrari NB.
