Did a search and the thread was back in 2010; they have a 456 I am interested in; sent them email off of cars.com I think it was;nice description of the car BUT they make NO mention of any recent service AND it is a EURO car which if done right and documented does NOT worry me, low price in, low price when selling, I know this upfront, but am cautious, thanks, Dogdoc, Atlanta

Great guys. They always have amazing inventory and even though the dealership is off the beaten path it is a cool facility. I have known the owner for years. Call John Mastrogiovanni at 561-452-0788, he is one of their main sales guys.

You still shopping? Geez dog, hurry up and find a hydrant you like before the rest of us mark 'em! :p :D

And I never did get my commission check for convincing you to subscribe. :( ;) :D

That is one sharp 456! I don't recall seeing a black one before; anyone know how "rare" (as stated in the ad) that color is?

bought a 2001 BMW z8 roadster for 7 weeks, bought at estate sale; flipped and made $$$$, anyway John was VERY forthcoming; car has had both doors repainted b/c a very minor amount of rust on the corners; the owner was not happy as John says it could be so much better, lousy job....so do I pull the trigger and get them redone or walk. We know that a great painter like an artist can make it look great. John says the car is sound in every other way and Blackhorse did a major service etc in the Fall of 2011. Going to call them today...thanks, Dog

They are about 2 miles away from me. I think their hours are by appointment since a friend stopped in to look at a car they had and they were in a hurry to go somewhere so they rushed him out of the showroom in the middle of the afternoon. But this was over a year ago so they may have just been opened a short time and didnt have any sales staff. Just call to make sure they are open before going there, since it always looks they they are closed when I drive by since there are never any cars visible. All the cars are kept indoors (a good thing), so unless you know where the place was, it would be hard to tell they were even there.

Been speaking to John, easy to talk "reality" of cars, prices, etc. I get a good vibe that they sell nice cars! Dog

If this is the car that was for a while at Blackhorse Performance, it was a mess in every area when it first got there.
It is probably sorted out by now, for the most part at least, but the rust was not minor and it is unclear how it was taken care of.
On the other hand, the price seems reasonable and I doubt it is a firm one.
Talk to Christian and find out how is the car, before you make a move.

Long time no talk to; YES, it was at Blackhorse, left them a message yesterday BUT no responsed. John at Driving Emotions says it is very NICE mechanically; some $20K spent recently. Now....the doors were each painted b/c of some minor rust(you say it was more?) on the edges and he admitted that it looks bad as did the owner, he hated it but left it alone. The price is a couple more off to $40K BUT while I was interested I feel like the last thing I want to do is buy a car and then send it to my paint guy, seems stupid to me, I think frankly they should have had it done already, that's just my opinion. My paint guy tells me it will be very inexpensive but that's not the point, you and everyone esle knows it has had a paint job, low price on the buy, maybe LOW to LOWER price on the sell..... Looks like a great car for the money. Driving Emotions is next door to the contractor's office where I used to work. Nice clean facility. Good luck with the decision.

would you buy a car knowing that you needed to repaint the doors? It may be hard to get new paint to look like 17 year old paint; my guy says you have to be an artist, not a car painter....dog
