Hey guys, Moved to Atlanta recently and I'm wondering - have we got any really spectacular supercars in Atlanta? The spotters thread revealed we've got an Enzo, by the owner of FoA - is that the only one? Any Veyrons, F40s/F50s, McLaren F1s, or other ultimate supercars to look for?
There was a McLaren f1 for sale at lamborghini atlanta awhile ago I dont know if it stayed in ga or not.
FOA owner has a 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo. Guy in town has a Murcie roadster, Spyker, etc. Will be getting an F40 sooner or later. Super nice guy but prefers to be low key. I don't blame him. Another guy has a heritage version Ford Gt Lots of 430's and 360's in town. Lambo's are under represented-mostly owned by local celebs and not out much. No Veyrons I know of and Macca F1's are not US legal, so there are only 2/3 in USA total. There may be one or two other Enzo'''s in the area but they are not driven. Overall a pretty good collection of stuff. Best place to see them is at an Italian Restaurant called Giovannis in Suwanee. Every 3rd Sat of the month the local car guys gather there from 4-7 for beer and pizza.
I had a chance to see that 288 GTO not long ago when mine was in for service. It's not likely that we will see it out on the road though, since it only has 143 Km's on it.
Actually I read on Bimmerforums.com that there is a Veyron in Atlanta, it was seen at a detail show. I'd love to see it. There are lots of supercars around, just well hidden or kept under wraps.
So we know of SLRs. Can anyone confirm or disprove the Veyron? Anyone have any confirmed sightings of any Carrera GTs in the area? I know Porsche is headquartered down here so there must be a few. Anyone know for sure if there is one Enzo or two Enzos? We know the owner of FoA has one - red right? Is there another? I've already seen three Murcielago roadsters - Young Jeezy has one in green, I saw a red one, and I saw a black one with Jackson County plates, oddly. The McLaren F1 was indeed US road legal, thanks to Ameritech - in fact, supposedly 21 of the 65 road cars are here in the States. My home state of Colorado has three thanks to Ralph Lauren.
I saw a silver carrera gt up in atlanta. We were up by lenox and i would have taken a picture but i did have our camera.
When I saw this thread and saw your name was the last one to post, I just knew you mentioned my sweet Josephine... She's no P4/5, but she's special. Image Unavailable, Please Login

there are 2 McLaren F1 GTR's in metro Atlanta. one is a longtail and one is a short tail version. Fina and Gulf cars. owner even has an extra engine. there are some really special muscle cars around too.
Here is the owner of FoA's Enzo, F40, F50, 288 GTO, 348 Comp, and some of the others. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Who owns F of A now? I knew the owners back when it was FAF Motorcars. Somebody told me an outfit called S and W Sportscars Inc. owns it now.
The old owners of FAF were Ewing Hunter and John Apen. John is still active with Manheim auctions and Gold Book work.
It always amazes me that someone thinks it is OK to post pictures on the net without the owner's permission! Can you say violation of privacy?!
