I know of a few of us that own exotics. It would be great to find more to have some sort of a get together.

I go to Wichita to see my dad every other week, and so far the only exotic I guess I've seen was a Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo, and boy was it moving. Nice, but it wasn't a Ferrari. If there was a sort of get together I might be a nuisance and show up just to look...

Back when I worked for Cessna and lived in ICT in the 90's, there was a red Mera 308 that I used to see around all the time. A red 348 Sypder used to be parked over by the office complex at 29th and Rock as well. I also recall seeing a custom NSX convertible around quite a bit - sweet looking car. In the years that I lived in Wichita, Ferrari sightings were very rare.

There are several 355's, 348's, 308's and 328's in the Wichita area. Some Daytona's and Testarossa's in suburbs, a few Lambos and occasionally a later edition Ferrari. Don't let Wichita fool you, there are some exotics, but we also have garages and are apparently shy about letting them see the sunshine.

We DID head downtown in Lawrence to party with all the college kids......reminded me of the old days in Austin, TX.

Of course, now when I run with Renee I'm the "Sugar Daddy.." LOL!

We hid the Ferrari, but the Challenge Jacket still gave me away......

No doubt Big Tex...I could've spotted the jacket a mile away. Next time when you're in independence go to the main intersection in town and it's on the NE corner. I'm from Wichita, hence I don't remember the names of the streets, but it was good.

    What all do you drive?

Wow, I guess I do not look at this forum enough, 17 replies.
Who can all get together sometime? I know of a few people not on this forum that would like to get their cars out and grab some lunch or dinner.
    I am in anytime!

Well NSXER, to be honest, I'm fresh out of Grad school with student loans to boot and have a 9 month old daughter. What money I had saved for a Ferrari is safe to say GONE at this point. Rest assured I'll have a nice prancing horse sitting in the garage in just a few years though.

As far as get togethers though, make sure you have the buffalo run on your calendar this fall. A buddy and I went last year in an SL500 and had an absolute blast. I believe he's looking at a 355 spyder for purchase before the event. Should be fun with the other 180 fine autos that show up as well.

    BJ,
I, along with many others on this forum, have been where you are. Bills and especially family come first. Just because you do not have one does not mean that you can't join a get together though.
I heard about the Bull run, sounds like a lot of fun. I did not have the time last year though but this year I will for sure!
