    To answer your question what it takes? The one in the field on your way to work will be asking for $3-4k. Restore it to the black one, will depend on rust conditions, engine, redo all exteriors/paint, seats, electrics, do it your self will only cost you material. Pay someone, 3k car + parts $5k + paint+2k + wheels 1k + interiors 2k + labor 40hrs@100 ~4k = $17k + engine parts... so $20k ish is about right for a restore. That dude on ebay spent 40k, he's losing his shirt, but man that is a nice car.

    grrrrr i hate that i love cars so much. I want them all. Ive been looking at a Fchatter's GT4. If i was to spend that much, i should buy Hank's Ingrid. But who am i kidding, i just need to step away from this computer. We are closing on our new house next month, i'll soon be very near you buddy.
