I've had a USP Compact 45 for many years. It was my daily carry for very long time. It's a great, reliable gun but like others mentioned, the magazines are costly, and an adapter is required if you want to mount a light. I also have HK VP-9 which is a fabulous gun and probably the most consistently accurate gun I've ever shot right out of the box. The ergonomics are great as well. Definitely worth a look and it comes in .40 as well.
Enthusiast here for sure. More of a rifle man though, especially the military stuff. AR platform is a big turn off for me, however.
My buddy Cerakoted one of those in the same Swedish camo pattern too. And someone say military "stuff?" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What's the big one? Must be .50 or .338? Nice PS90. I really like the FiveseveN. Stupid ammo is so expensive though!
Here's a pic of my bedside safe-kept Beretta 9mm with an AAC suppressor... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok, I did bought it and I'm glad I did. Before I bought the HK USP 45 C, I have been reading a lot of gun forum about the HK USP and from what I have read, there's about 95% positive reviews about the gun. Most of them says it's accurate and reliable. Well, 3 days after I bought my USP, I took it to my local indoor gun range and to my surprise, I was shooting bullseye, first at 10 ft. then 15, then 20, then all the way to 50ft. I've never own a 45 before let alone a compact but this USP compact is so accurate it's so easy to shoot. The other thing is, since the HK USP has the buffer ring around the recoil spring, it reduces some of the recoil, in fact it feels like you're firing a 9mm. I know it's not the best one out there but for me it's good enough specially for home protection.
After coming across a nearly 6 ft rattlesnake in my car port, I had to buy some more .410 shells and new rifle cleaning supplies. https://s11.postimg.org/xlmp3bv0j/IMG_4335.jpg
The big one is an Armalite .50BMG. AAC TiRant is awesome silencer. Are you shooting subsonics through it? Congrats on the purchase, and awesome shooting - they are tack drivers. If this is going to be a self-defense weapon, then (assuming you have DA/SA configuration) make a decision if you're going to keep it cocked & locked, or de-cocked. Then train, train, train in that configuration. There are plenty of professional trainers that have 1-2 day classes and you'll go through over 500rds easy. The full size models have a different (and IMO) more forgiving recoil buffer system. Be warned, HKs are like Lays potato chips...
You guys who are unsubscribed should really think about subscribing. It's not a lot of money, and there is great gun content, particularly in Rossa. Matt
+1. Watch the web sites. I picked up the ammo for about 60% of the normal price, but had to buy 2000 rounds. No problem, I store it in an ammo can with silica gel. It will last 100 years!
