New to the area, anyone interested in a meetup? Any good shop recommendations?
There are many in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. I know that's a 1.5 hr trek up the road, but they are always at the various monthly shows and really show up for the "exotics on the circle," "exotics on the ranch" (Lakewood ranch) and "Ferraris on the circle." Sorry I can't be of direct assistance to your area, but if you're willing to drive yours, I'm sure you'll find meetups this way. Best,
Thanks defiant, that is to far a trek, though I do love Siesta Key. Naples is closer and also has an active scene. We have a Euro show next week-end, will see if any other Ferraris show.
Mercato Cars and Coffee every third Sunday morning. At Mercato Shopping Center North Naples. 30 min from FM. I sold my 550 and 612, on to Alfas and Porsches for me, for now.
Hmmm . . . will have to see about hitting the Mercato C&C. I just googled it, that may be just a little more formal a get together than I'm looking for. Currently I'm in an exotic free zone, but I betcha most of the folks there have never seen a white Mercedes station wagon. (Once my wife helps me decide which Porsche to buy we'll be back in the clover with a semi-exotic.) I really miss the C&C we had weekly when I lived up north. D

This is the most premier and grand car event; takes place every year. Been attending yearly x6 years: https://www.carsonfifth.com/
You should make the effort. Not only are there over 500 cars of many types on display but the 5th Avenue setting and the friendliness of the owners make it a special event. Course I am a bit biased.....I ran the show for 13 years. It truly is special. Fortunately for me I found a replacement to take over!!!
Cars on Fifth is truly one of the best shows in Florida, hard to put my finger on exactly why, but it just is! Not to be missed
