This is easily the best modification to a 360 I've seen. I think it looks amazing and really sets off the front of the car. I wonder how white headlights on a black 360 would look!

I was under the impression the lights are sealed, and painted that way from the factory.

you would have to order the lights in that color.

    am I wrong ?

I'm pretty certain it's not a factory option.

Not a factory option for what ??

When I went to FoD this past week to look for a simple peice that holds the buld in, they were like, you have to order the whole kit from the factory, and I wasnt going to do that of course, so I asked did they have any that were damaged that I could look at etc.. that were getting repaird or painted.

The response was, these come color coded from the factory, we send all units back, etc..

I do not want to speak out of turn as I DO NOT know fisrt hand, if the headlight assemblys can be taken apart and put back together.

Althought looking at the parts book, it only list 1 part number for the whole front assembly..

So I would guess, this peice isnt easily taken apart to paint, and must be orderd in the color you want and then installed.

    but I could be wrong....

They probably just ordered the light assemblies for a black car.

Prob a lot cheaper to trade. Who knows - that appears to be in Malaysia or something, where I'm sure you have to be super-rich to get a Ferrari... maybe he also has a black 360.

As for me, I like aftermarket pieces, I'm not keen on the look of those lights.

Still doesn't look as good as the car behind it.

I beg to differ. Though I've always liked the 355 rear, the front of a 355 always looked like a Pontiac Fiero front end to my eyes.

You can order headlights for a black 360 or repaint them.

    Agreed as stated :

they are sealed, and I have never looked at taking one apart, and I am sure the F50's are easier to paint as the opening from the lamp is MUCH bigger, then the ones on the 360's

You are right Adam, the unit comes as one and VERY difficult to take it apart. I have heard it is possible to do this but the chap who tried it broke a unit or two before suceeding.

I initially fancied doing the same on my car but gave up on the idea now as it works out to be quite expensive.

The car in the photo is Japanese, where it is quite common to have the black headlights on 360s. Never seen a black/white combination though. It may not be as effective. Also quite common in Japan is to have different colour side mirrors (easily painted).

Cool. I wasn't sure, but guessed Malaysia since I couldn't distinguish the text (apparently Kanji), but the banner in the back looks like it says "Ferrari Brunei."

Looks 'Ferrari Brunch' to me. I think this is the Ferrari meeting organised by Mr Matsuda in Japan.

... yes that's at Mr Matsuda's Ferrari Museum in Hakone - a great drive up there and a fab museum - he also has a Porsche museum just down the road :)
