Something I've known since delivery this past Nov., the GranSport is a terrific car. I have yet to run into a bad review. They've all been very positive, including the TopGear tv show review. All you have to do is give it a drive and you'll see. A car for both sport and a night on the town, a car of two personalities. I wouldn't call it a "sound investment" like this article says, but compared to its competition it is more special. The Aston AMV8 is now its new competition, but the Aston doesn't have rear seats and the GranSport's rear seats are much larger than people realize as this article points out.

I've driven it and I loved it. It scores WAY above Porsche and Aston for practicality. Two adults could sit in the back and not need ER at the end of a short trip.

I think this would be my first choice of car if (when) we'll have kids. The only problem is, I'd like it to have more power, and I'd like disable the Skyhook which really doesn't work when you want to handle the car on the limit.

So I'd have to find a rare non-Skyhook Gransport and take it to Leo Nardo in Germany to fit the 450 BHP chip + exhaust + intake kit... or even better the 530 BHP twin-compressor kit :D

The GranSport "MC" is not that far away that might suit your taste a little more. Think Stradale version of the GranSport. I think Geneva is in March so we likely will see it debut there.
