modern ferraris depend on electronics to keep them on the road, turning them off is suicidal for most owners

The 812 is super risky with CT off, even in RACE you can get into untold trouble if you don't know how to counter-steer and unexpectedly get rear slippage. I was driving the 812 on the track the other day and I barely moved the steering wheel in the S curves at COTA and the backend made some kind of out and back move. It totally surprised me but I kept it under control. The instructor had moved me to RACE on the grandstand stretch and I entered the S turns more aggressively at about 95mph. I was going slightly over the rumble strip at the apex on the middle turn and was turning back to the left and when the tire transitioned from the rumble strip to the track the rear end hopped back to the right. Very strange move and a bit disconcerting.

Indeed. Theses are bigger GT cars one must remember, not real track cars/mid engine. My TDF steps out everywhere.

If you think that’s risky, try turning it to off on a 599!
