Like the Mondy coupes. Maybe it's me but the 348 wheels just do do it.

Comm'on Dave. When you only have 42 to choose from, the miles becomes insignificant.

One of these two posted should be in your garage 'eh.

Nice interior for sure. That has got to be worth the depreciation on the mileage??? Still seems like a pretty decent price. Anyone have the sales price history of any other 89 mondial coupes that are recent?

    Agreed.

The last coupe I saw that sold went through auction around $44K. I think it was white, USA, 39K miles. However, that was 2005... I thought it was a strong buy then. I think this car mentioned is just as strong, but the other for sale unit may even be a stronger buy.

Based on the miles..........I would offer low $30's, and go from there.

There were *FAR* more than 40 coupes made. Sorry, this is just inaccurate.

Now, to say that only 40 coupes were imported in 1989 for the T, and that the car was never sold in the United States after 1989, that's more accurate. If someone wanted to bad enough, they could get a later model T imported into the country. But there were more than 40 made.

good luck with DOT! I looked into it already, plus I think that t coupe with the 348 wheels sold a few days ago. but not 100% sure, good luck hunting the 89 t coupe's are rare.

Good example....and with only 45K miles on the clock, the engine will start to hit the sweet spot soon enough.

The reference, and the point of this thread, is that they only made 40 US-spec Mondial T Coupes and they were all imported in 89. No one is saying that they only made 40 Mondial Coupes (8, 3.2, T). You answered your own question.

BTW, there are a couple later model (1991, 1992) T Coupes for sale here on F-chat that are imports to Canada. Probably could get one of those in fairly easily.

I promise you that you WILL NOT find another Mondial with an interior as beautiful as this one. Not only is the leather pristine but the previous owner replaced the headliner with Alcantara and it looks stunning!

The number of t coupes that came to the US in 1989 was 42 (came directly from a friend who is with customer service with Ferrari in Italy). We were also given a number of 810 but I don't remember what exactly that number represented. The Mondial t after '89 in the US is the cab version.

It would be very interesting to learn how many still exist. At one time I had accounted for something like 8, including one that was being parted out after having suffered an accident.

No info on the color breakdown. That's a good question. We'll see if we can come up with any info and, if we do, will certainly pass it along.

    Ciao,

The ad that is referenced says "only 40 made" which is inaccurate, and that's what I'm commenting on.

The total number of Mondial t Coupes made is 858, of which 42 were sent to the US in 1989. Sorry, but the info of color combinations sent to the US is not available for dissemination.
