@SandyC and/or Ian Jones Maybe a bit of a premature question since it was just unveiled but do you think there is any chance Amalgam will ever release any scale model of the Ferrari 812 Monza SP2 or SP1? I'd love to have one of the black SP2 in 1/12.
Talk about a quick reply!? Thank you SandyC you made my day even if it's just "likely." I'm still holding onto faint hope for a large scale model of the Huayra Roadster. Any progress on that in your discussion with Pagani or is it a definite no?
The 812 Monza is very likely indeed now The BC is not out of the question, still working on it. SandyC
Thanks SandyC. Not optimistic when asking now but I hope there will be a 1/12 scale (and not just 1/8) option on the 812 Monza SP2 in black. Amalgam is my only hope left as I'm sure BBR and MR will not offer it in 1/12. Also just to clarify that I am hoping for a large scale model of the Huayra Roadster not Huayra BC.
Sorry, I did mean the Huayra Roadster. We'll discuss 1:12 of the 812 Monza but it seems likely we'll make 1:8 and 1:18 SandyC
Thanks SandyC that's exciting news. If I am ever able to purchase a 1/8 model of the Ferrari 812 Monza SP2 I have found my spec thanks to this stunning design posted by Marco Van Overbeeke recently on his Instagram page.
Hi Sandy Any chance Amalgam is making the coming Porsche Mission E / Taycan in 1/8? so looking forward to it! as this could be a milestone of Porsche
It's possible we could model these important cars for Porsche for their own internal use at 1:8. Also for sale to collectors at 1:18 SandyC
The Miura at 1:18 will be exclusive to our special collection in partnership with Road & Track. https://www.roadandtrack-amalgam.com/collections/all-models/products/lamborghini-miura-p400-sv-road-and-track The first models will be ready in a few weeks, can't guarantee delivery before the Holiday, probably first week of January.
The weathered 250 LM looks cool. Nice to see some different. I'm sure it makes for a striking model. -F
Why wasn't the engine and surrounding area & components weathered as well? That should have done. Looks like a Concours ready engine bay, but with complete post race weathered body.... makes no sense to me.
Will the need 1/8 Ferrari 330P4 has all openings with doors, engine bay and bonnet front and back able to open and display the interior details? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Any more word of building a Ferrari 328 GTB/S model? They are such a popular model with many owners desperate for great reproductions of their car. Also easy to make 308 versions too I would imagine.
Surprised the 3x8 GTB/S series have not been modelled already by Amalgam over a lot of other completed, less popular models.
If a 328 is made, I suggest modeling the early version with the concave wheels, not the later version with convex wheels. -F
