Blocking Hamilton in the pitlane - WTF? AF is cheap and no sportsman
Its just like the bad old Shumi days all over again screw your team mate win no matter what Never mind though Lewis will beat him in the race again
Ask Rubens about that one and i think you would get a diffrent answer. He must have lost count of how many times he took one for the team.
This ~seems~ way beyond any of that. FA may as well have turned around...looked at LH...touched his thumbs to the sides of his helmet and waved his fingers up and down at him.
Maybe LH and FA will take each other out in the first turn and give KR a chance at 1st. No matter what, there is no way they both stay with Merc. next year. Robert
LOL Sure this is way beyond that but some Alonso fans like to deflect so as not to have their man(and I use man loosely) look so bad.
As much as I love Ferrari...I hope that Lewis kicks alonsos arse. If anyone takes him out I hope its Kimi.
Pretty ironic Hakkinen recently claiming McLaren know how to handle their drivers. First Montoya leaves mid-season, and now it looks like Alonso is doing everything to get fired! This Dennis guy must be a real sweetheart! But at least we know he's honest - at least that's what he claims.
I think Ron Dennis will get some revenge on Alonso harming his "baby", expect some delay in a pitstop for Alonso
"You can get another lap Fernando. Hamilton is doing another." "What? Your engine is stopping? I wonder how that happened."
I do believe that McLaren is becoming its own worst enemy and is spiralling into general public disdain. They needed to keep their noses clean this race and the race hasn't even started and this is not the attention they were hoping for. I personally think Mercedes should walk - they are getting no prestige by being associated with this team.
Where would they go? The next 3 teams are factory cars, you're not going to see a Renault-Mercedes. Spyker Mercedes Vodaphone F1? Prodrive Mercedes?
Starting on the pole here is even more important than usual. Nobody wants the dirty side of the track; least of all Alonso... Alonso claimed the team held him. The first time it was the RF tire warmer tie down string. This backed up the countdown to the end of the third session. Alonso stated it was a team decision the second time he was held to. CH
They didn't walk when their motors kept breaking; they kept at it. They own a piece of the team. The current World Champion won their home race for them recently. They lead all the points tables so they should leave for???? CH
They do not need to go anywhere - they are one of the largest most capable engineering firms in the world - it is time for the return of a true Mercedes factory team. Bring back the Silver Arrows.
That's why the lollipop guy was trying to wave him off so they could get to Hamilton... He almost started to smile as he made those statements....Alonshole!!!
If it were another team, I assume FIA would have penalized Alonso. What is the deal when the infraction is within a "Team" ? Is Ron Dennis the final adjudicator?
It is beginning to look a little like Ronco has pictures of Bernie with the Tyrolian Boy's Glee Club, isn't it? Guilty of receiving stolen documents? But, hey, that's okay. Six cars into the kitty litter -- but the McLunk gets a crane ride back ... and a wave by the SC. Driver playing "blockade" with each other (and the competition)? .... at least there's no "team orders" going on.
