I can do that! I will get to it when I get back from the post office. Some great pics! I love taking these types of shots. Especially when it's easier with no crowds. That's why I try to do all mine on Thursday. IIRC one of the ESM crew mentioned to me that one of their cars was originally a Risi car. HMMM!
one of the ESM cars was new the other and X Corsa car (Steve Pruitt). the Risi cars are usually owned by investors as collectibles.

Today my engineer friend with ESM showed me some photos of the new 458 chassis. Unfortunately he wouldn't email them to me. I wouldn't be surprised if they get leaked & show up here soon.
I've certainly got my fingers crossed, because the work Risi have done is so amazing to look at. I suppose driving one would be okay too. _J
My friend told me that all the teams receive the same exact cars from Michelotto and then it's up to the individual teams to do the tweaking needed to the suspension or anything else. So I would assume that Risi's car will look identical to ESM's cars, until they modify it.
The only photos I've seen of the whole exterior are the same ones posted here. There is tape in the "corners" of the front grill but with the tape removed I'm sure it will look better. Keep in mind that the ESM cars will eventually be black, green & silver. I think the whole car will look better in black. The cars are not in the states yet. I'm sure I will know when they arrive and I will announce that here. Even though ESM is in Florida, my friend does all of his engineering work from here in the Austin area and I see him every day. BTW, I was telling my friend with ESM about P4/5 & P4/5C... he had not heard about either one but he was impressed with the endeavor. He knows first hand exactly what it takes to take on a project like that.
ESM is expecting to take delivery of chassis #001 on February 1st and then chassis #002 soon after. They won't have time to do their Motec electronics conversion, so they will start out running with Bosch electronics.
Quite surprised to hear of this from John Dagys twitter. Can anyone confirm? Le Mans without Risi would be quite weird.
Just 2 tweets down it says that they will have a car mid-February and run a Michelotto test car during testing. I'm a little confused by that...
With Krohn doing the ILMC he gets an auto entry to Le Mans. Risi has differed some of the Le Mans cost with running two cars there for several years. Its over 1 Mil for two cars at Le Mans and considerably more than half for one car. Its purely a money issue; too bad actually as the car should be quick and well sorted by Le Mans. The Risi 458 will be ready mid-Feb. the Michelotto test car will come over and run the Sebring test with Michelotto in charge and Risi supporting the running of the car; logistics, mechanics, truck, equipment etc. The main thrust isnt to setup the car for Sebring rather to put a lot of miles on the car, do a little tire testing and see what breaks. Michelotto is still testing in Italy but the weather isnt stellar and they cant run the car hard to prove out the endurance capability. No place better then Sebring to break something. Should be and interesting year.
Hey!!! There's a NICE "team" T shirt available on the ALMS website, so everybody show some love!! Got the Houston skyline on it and everything!! Last year's car tho.....
