Alfa Romeo GT 1300/1600 Junior Zagato... anyone?

    I've been fortunate to have a 1971 Alfa GT 1300 Junior Zagato come my way.
    Does anyone here own one?

    The seller and I connected coincidentally, and I'm in friendly negotiations for its purchase. It's been one of several cars on my bucket list... and I'm pretty darned thrilled to have this come about.

    I did a search here on Fchat and find no mention of these fabulous little driving machines. They are built on the Alfa's "Spider" 105 chassis with 1300cc and 1600cc 4 cylinder engine and running gear. An upgrade to the Alfa 1750cc or 2.0liter is not uncommon.

    I like them also. Had a chance a few years ago to get one when they were still less money. They do rust like any other Zagato. Looks like a baby Alfetta GT. Amazing it was designed in 1968.
