Any specific brands and/or part numbers recommended for aftermarket TPMS sensors for 599 HGTE?

I used this one from EBay. It works just fine. Make sure to tell them to program it for a 599. They shipped the next day.

I just ordered them when I ordered tires from TireRack. They are not expensive and work perfectly.

It looks like there are multiple ITM 433mHz options. Different manufacturer part #s. Do you know the specific one you got?

The box has the following info:

    ITM TPMS
    Uni-sensor Duo
    Aluminum valve
    P/N 08017D
    UPC 639601080175

It also has a sticker with the programmed ID code that was done by the EBay seller.

The aluminum valve stem that is installed on this is slightly shorter than the Ferrari OEM units. This means that the vavle stem does not stick out as far as the OEM unit when it is installed on my HGTE wheel. I had to reduce the size of my air chuck to add air. My old air chuck was too big. Simple. I reuse the original valve stem with this new sensor. Otherwise, no big deal.

It is important to get these programmed by a knowledgeable seller. Again, make sure to tell them that your snesors will be used on a Ferrari 599. The one I referenced on eBay did know what they were doing. I just noticed on the box that it says: "To program Dual Frequency Universal TPMS Sensor 315/314 MHz, 433.92/434.42 MHz sensor AID tool must be updated to version 3.8 or later.

One of the most common issue is people don't get the old ones very far away so the new sensors will not pair. :)

599's/612's will auto recognize new sensors, but universal sensors need to be programmed to behave in the same way (same comms protocol - not just same frequency) as the original Huff/Beru sensors.

If you want to be bullet proof you can read the sensor ID's from your live data, or you can buy a £50 Autel TPMS tool that can read and program Autel MX sensors. Doing this you can clone your existing sensors so the car doesn't see any change at all. Just make sure to have your old ones out of range or you will confuse the hell out of it.

Same unit but I bought from seller "autolow" in Lansing Mich. The units need to be programmed. Autolow did that and they worked right out of the box.
