It is the right size and agile, it is the current cars that are as long as buses. It will be special to watch and hear him wring the neck of that thing and yes he will bring excitement next year, one way or another it is never dull with him.
So what’s the deal with that car - is that what he’s driving for young driver’s test? The car he drove when he was still a young driver, LOL? Not much to gain in terms of acclimatization to new cars if that’s the case. Just a demo then?
Demo once a day from tomorrow to Sunday, it is strictly a marketing show by Renault with the car he got one of his titles in. Tuesday he drives the 2020 Renault F1 (as raced by Ricciardo or Ocon this weekend) with errr..the other young drivers
Lewis update: Lewis has tested negative...still in Bahrain. So now, it's a matter of flying to Abu-Dhabi...possibly will be in the car for Saturday....all rumored of course. Nothing from MercedesAMGF1.
Hamilton back for Abu Dhabi, Russell to Williams Lewis Hamilton has been given the all clear to return to Formula 1 action after passing negative coronavirus tests in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, meaning George Russell will rejoin Williams https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/154106/hamilton-back-for-abu-dhabi-russell-to-williams
I think nothing has changed for him. He should win as LH has been out. He really must improve this weekend. He should be thinking about a future for sure of course.
LOL. Same here. I was hoping for more unexpected results this weekend. Bottas must be calm now, back to "normal".
He made enough $ to play Scalextrix for the rest of his life. At least those cars have tires that stick.
Both Russell and Bottas crying now, Russell won't see his first win soon and Bottas won't have the chance to redeem himself and beat Russell.
To put all events of the last week in perspective: - Hamilton is testing positive for corona virus at a convenient moment (when both his and Mercedes' World Championships are safe) - Which is an excellent opportunity to put a young and promising driver in the car in a real life test - Test of young driver exceeds all expectations: second driver looks like a fool and suddenly a lot of questions are raised about the real quality of the "star" driver - Magically star driver reappears after 1 week as further coronavirus tests are negative Remarkable, to say the least.....
Now this! Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri has announced his shock retirement from the Italian sportscar manufacturer with immediate effect. The move, which has been cited for 'personal reasons', has come out of the blue and Ferrari has not yet had time to sort out who will replace him. Ferrari said that its chairman John Elkann would take on the CEO role for an interim period before a successor is identified. Camilleri's announcement that he is leaving Ferrari comes alongside a similar statement from Philip Morris, with the company confirming that he too was stepping down from his involvement on the board there. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/154108/ferrari-ceo-camilleri-announces-shock-retirement
Since Singapore is not on this year's list, this abu dhabi track will be the most boring race this year. The fact that the 'goat' is returning will only add to the same crap again.
