Many of us have special non Ferrari cars. This just happened to me and I wanted to share and warn y'all..

I set up a Level 2 readout and inspection on a 2018 911 at Rusnak Porsche Westlake.. My choice of dealer.. I told the Service Department it was a pre purchase and the details of the agreement. The seller now says that the Used Car Sales Department (Manager Adrian Romero) offered him $3,000 more than our agreed price and sold. The service manager likely advised him at the same time he was trying to get me to walk away from the car. Rusnak Porsche knew the car was under agreement and seemingly used the details I provided. They had the sellers contact information from the service paperwork. Yes, the Seller is a turd but the dealer should have some sort of professional behavior.

I have no recourse but wanted to share what, in my opinion is despicable behavior from a dealer that professes their support for customers and PCA ...

BTW .... They found an actual rats nest inside the car, the front tub had been damaged from underneath and the car could never be CPO and it had 13 Level 2 stored warnings. They are now offering it as CPO on their website. Here's a photo of the rats' nest... Be Warned!!!!

WOW, scum bags, but hey they are Car Sales "professionals". Turds is an understatement.

I wonder what PCNA would say about these business practises ...

Perhaps it would also make sense to post your experience to the rennlist forum, to warn our fellow enthusiasts there and to learn if someone else has something to say about that dealership.

Same thing happened to me a decade ago by an independent dealer, it really sucks. I would complain to Porsche NA.

Sorry to hear of your emotional agony. I had a similar experience attempting to buy an Aston Martin through a dealer some years ago. I learned that verbal agreement and handshake were not viewed as binding by all parties. After my offer was accepted verbally and with handshake the car was sold to someone else while I was at the bank arranging the funds. It was painful to learn other people's business practices did not meet my expectations. I have avoided repeating this experience since then. Fortunately it was only about a car.

Maybe they did you a favor.

After all.....you would have gone back to the owner with what you found from the inspection and in all likelihood requested that a price adjustment was in order or the problems needed to be fixed to complete the purchase. That would have reset the agreement you had with the Seller. Either way.....I will bet that you would not have been happy with the result.

BTW hopefully they were just mice. Rats love Porsche wiring and will wreak havoc if they get into a car.

And in closing.....it was very humane of you to leave the rats in the car so they can bond with other rats at Rusnak.:)

CNC was rotten to the core , hopefully Rusnak was just a few bad apples . Still not good, and maybe some integrity comes from the top down .

I think I was the last customer of CNC that didn’t get screwed. I financed a 2009 F430 one weekend, then picked it up the next. That could have gotten ugly for me, but fortunately it all worked out. I did have to hound them to get the pink slip to my Credit Union who financed it for me.

I’ve been following along with all the scandalous behavior. I guess a handshake doesn’t mean anything anymore. Glad I know that now.

    But not unique
Porsche dealers are the worst in the industry and PNA refuses to clean up their act
Google Champion Porsche and Chandler Porsche

Champion Porsche sold each GT3/2 car TWICE as New and only when paying buyers did not receive cars did things unravell

If you are asking about my experience (post #6, not the copied and pasted post later by someone else), then my disappointment happened at Newport Imports in the 1980s.
