anyone on here have any contacts at A.Uberti Italy? i have a very strange Uberti Model 73 Winchester Rifle copy. ** i am trying to find information on, namely. when it was manufactured (year). ** the rifle is in caliber 44-40, with a 19 inch octagon barrel, half magazine, and nice wood with very nice color case hardening. the gun may have been modified from its original form, i.e. the barrel and magazine may have been shortened to look like a "Short Rifle" . the serial number is" 00977 " and there are no warnings or other marking on it other than the Navy Arms logo and the Uberti proof stamps. Navy Arms was very nice , but unable to provide info by serial number. any help from F Chatters in Italy would be very welcome! will add pics to help! thanks ! all i could find were google links to the USA branch. i already emailed them, and need to give them time to reply. i will contact Uberti in Italy via email and see if they can / will help me. thanks for the info1 if anyone else has anything to add , please do so! i dont think its worth a lot, but its a neat rifle!!!
