    Thanks to everyone, your thoughts and prayers have provided much optimism. Lori is doing pretty well, she can move her thumb and pinky, she is also getting some feeling back into here three middle fingers. Thearapy has begun and it is very painfull for her but she understands that in-order to regain use she must endure. All of the swelling and discoloration in her face has gone and her eyesight is nearly back to normal. We are extremly lucky and again thank all for the thoughts and prayers.

    Great news about her eyesight! Looks like it was the right decision not to operate.

    Best wishes on her therapy. That's fantastic that she has feeling in all her fingers now - hope her recovery continues.

    Thanks again to everyone for their support. Lori is doing quite well, her physical therapist is very pleased with her progress. She has about 75% movement in all fingers and about 30% in her wrist. Still no feeling in her fingers with the exception of her pinky. She has a very good outlook, no doubt all of you kind and enthusiastic words has helped that along. Thanks again to all who have taken their time to relay thoughts.

    I saw this post when you first posted it, sorry I didnt post but didn't quite know what to say. I was cringing as I read it, and would of passed out if I saw it happen.

    But I am glad things are improving for you and your wife.
