Hello Everyone, Some of you might recognize me from my recent postings. Others have met me in person at last Sunday's Supercar Road Trip Event which I coordinated. I realized that there are owners of exotic cars in the New England area who have an interest in meeting for organized group events. I propose a club run by the members themselves and free to attend. The only requirement is participation in an exotic vehicle. As event director of this club, I shall take an active role in planning events with the members themselves. Events shall lead to destinations located within a days range from Boston. These events will involve cruising, dining & socializing. We shall have one event per month from May until October. I will select an event based on suggestions from the members themselves. I will work hand in hand with a selected member to organize the event that he/she suggested. That person will become the member of the month! Thanks again for reading my post. I hope that my contribution to the New England exotic car community will become a growing success! Sincerely, Manolis www.*********************
I have to say, the last event was well coordinated, the restaurant selection was awesome, the sites were beautiful, and it was just plain fun. Mickfluff here was the member of the month for the last one and he did an absolute stellar job. I personally can't wait for this next one.
hey manolis i know we havent met yet and we both know i do not own a super car hopefully sometime in the future i will be able to particapate with you guys and my own supercar but for now id like to atleast be able to be a part of your group if you dont mind
Hey guys! Thanks for the good words regarding the last event. CustomFerrari sure you can be part of the event. I am sure that someone from Verell's BBQ with an empty seat wouldn't mind you coming along. It seems that you're well acquainted with the group on fchat so it's a matter of you asking. Don't forget only supercars allowed! --Manolis
Are you serious! lol I didn't send you an invite for nothing. But, if you need further convincing I can go to the old tried and true Power Laps board from Top Gear. Hmmm, let me see. Oh, there it is! Ranked 38, which is only 7 seconds off the Gumpert Apollo. It would be one second off the Murcielago and Zonda C12 S and faster than the Mercedes SLK 63 Black. Oh and the run was on a damp track. I'm no scholar, but I think that passes with flying colors.
I think the terms are mixed up Supercars - Such as..Gumpert, maclaren f1, FXX, Koenigsegg CCXR ...basic ferraris and lamborghinis are not Supercars they are Exotic cars, However they are ...super.....Cars
Hey guys, The next Supercar Road Trip will take place Sunday August 30th 2009. We are heading northbound to New Hampshire! This is a special place and is located only 1 hour & 20 minutes from Ferrari of New England! Mo (member of the month) and I have selected an unbelievable scenic route that is second to none. Twisty quiet roads surrounded by pine trees, natural springs & waterfalls. Just imagine the note of your exotic screaming to the sound of nature. As you know, our first event to Newport was a great success. It was an eclectic group of cars & owners participating in a well planned day trip filled with top notch venues. Expect nothing less for our second event... we will leave you breathless! Special planning is currently taking place to make this event a memorable one. This day trip will include freedom cruising, New England dining, socializing & a photo session at a very special location. All followed by a stop to a unique English pub where New England meets Old England and the brew is ice cold. We will concourse our way southbound to the main highways at 5 p.m. giving everyone enough time to be home by evening. Now that's a day trip. I will post the event itinerary with photos during the upcoming week. Space is currently limited to 60 people (30 cars) and you must RSVP at least one week in advance. Attending the event is free however your RSVP must be approved. This event is only open to those who can participate in an exotic or a supercar. This is exciting! thanks, Manolis
