There is something that makes a figurado cigar more enjoyable to smoke. Perhaps its the fact that you are holding a weird cigar. For those who just call them "weird cigars" a figurado is the off-standard shaped cigar.

Now I am not talking about a standard torpedo because after you cut one its hardly any different!

So far I have found these but have not tried them.

Any other super weird ones to recommend?

    No "Egg" jokes please!

    Haha Ike those look nice.

I am more looking for the classic figuardos. Those are nice too though. You should look up the Egg cigar if you want a good laugh. Apparently takes 2 hours (which isn't that much longer than a good cool burning cigar takes) to smoke.

That's actually a box of Exclusivos. Thompson just uses the same picture for every size. A box of Pyramides should look like this: http://nhcigars.com/Padron-Anniversary-1964-Pyramide-Maduro-Cigar.asp . Here's a chart that shows the shapes of different figurados: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cigarshapes1.svg . You can see why the Pyramides are put in the box that way.

I like Perfectos, and my favorite one is the Gurkha Royal Brigade.

Funny, I was looking for a bigger picture of them and there doesn't seem to be any.

Aniversario's have become way too over priced!

The Pyramides used to be no more than $13 when they were readily available. Now they're probably approaching $50. I can think of a lot better cigars to spend $25 on, let alone $50! ;):)

The Padron 80th anniversary cigar tapers at both ends. Is that they shape you are talking about?

Sure, Cuban Partagas with 2 cousins at Harrod's several years back. I like to give them as gifts as well.

Ingenius and effective way to limit a rollers personal consumption to 3 a day!

La Aurora Preferidos. A cigar store owner in the San Fernando Valley once told me that these were a big hit because strippers and pornstars would use the tubes as dildos!
