As you could tell from my post count, I'm one of those that sits back and reads without saying too much.....until I find something that I need help on. I mean 10 years on the board and 19 posts....better slow it down!!!

Case in point, I've been looking for a 360 for a while now, not concerned about resale so I don't need a showroom new car but I also don't want to get into a full on restoration either.

Today, I ran across this 99 360 that is within a couple hours from me. It's the right color, interior and exterior, and has the options that I want, and it looks pretty good. Being Sunday morning, I can't contact the dealer to ask about previous history, etc. until tomorrow. So, I'm reaching out the brotherhood for any info they might have on either the dealer but specifically the car. Also, if I decide to go forward on this, any recommendations on an independent to do a PPI or should I just bring it to FoH?

I would talk to Mark at Sphere Motorsports for the PPI. Many people on here can vouch for his work as can I.

could be a decent deal price wise & is a change from the red/tan standard.

Might get more mileage out of posting in the 360/430 section.

I'd second the recommendation for Mark of Sphere.

I've been to that dealer within past 2 weeks. Didn't see that car anywhere there. The m3 I went to look at had signs of leaky valve covers. They,or someone else, put silicone where the gaskets should be. Some silicone had smushed out of the cover. Surrounding areas had obvious oil residue. Guy said service was up to date, yeah I doubt that.
