On the way to storage the passenger window switch on driver side stopped working. Worked fine with passenger switch. When I get it out in the spring where should i begin?

Do I correctly recall they're BMW switches?

    Thank you.

As suggested by the link, the most likely problem area is the pin connector in the door jamb on one or both doors. It's easy to pull back the rubber boots to have a look at the back of the pins to see if one is broken, and it's easy to twist off the plastic housing to have a look at the actual connections. There are several threads here that describe methods of repair.

For diagnosis, sometimes you can get the window to start working just by trying the switch while opening and closing the door, or by jiggling the jamb connectors while holding down the switch.

It's possible that there is a problem with a switch, but the connectors are far more likely. I don't think the switch is a BMW part.

Sorry you won't be able to enjoy your car until Spring!
