http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/155704811.html No connection to seller...but seems damn cheap for a Mondial...even one that old. Probably needs work, but it's at least in a desirable color scheme...
I wouldn't trust the seller any further than I could throw him. With grammatical skills like those (or a lack thereof, actually), it makes me wonder if the sale is even the real deal or just another scammer.
and who takes a for-sale pic of their car and can't be bothered (or notice???) the gas flap is open and flying in the wind..... This, and the poor grammar, tells me the guy's attention to details is somewhat lacking - not a great thing for PO of your ferrari.
Unless you part the car out, someone can give you a Mondial for free and you'll still lose money on it getting it up to a reliable driver, let alone in top condition if you have major work needed in more than one area. I'm not Mr. PPI on old cars as a rule, but for $13k I think one is in order. Ken
A lot of people slagging a car they don't know. If you're interested, call the guy. Maybe a bargain, maybe trash, but for that price if it were closer I'd put it in the garage.
Agree. The buyer will learn everything about Ferraris, Mondials, and general automotive mechanical skills including body work and upholstery. This is a great opportunity for anyone with unlimited time and/or money.
