This car is now on ebay for $36k: Ferrari Other 400i 2 2 GT | eBay He shows it as a 1980 in the heading, but a 1982 in the text. With that serial number (#36879) I'd guess its a 1981 as mine is a 1982 with #40555.
Good day All, I believe 36879 is now at Gullwing motors... Cheers, Sam 1982 Ferrari 400i - Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
of course. raising the price leaves more room for negotiation - and the buyer scraping off $1K is happy.
Not to mention that a higher asking price indicates overwhelming demand for the product so that potential buyers understand that they are being asked to buy a scarce commodity (albeit more than 365 GTB Daytonas that sell for 20X the price or more) and therefore such scarcity means added value.
