I think you got it wrong sir. LdM was the President of Ferrari. The President is the top job. Becoming the CEO would be a demotion, not a promotion.
President and CEO are two different jobs, which one is the "most" important depends on the company. The President (or Chairman) typically represents the shareholders while the CEO is actually managing the company, the importance of his role is depending on what liberty he gets from the President and board - there are (or have been) many companies where the CEO is considered the most important person, and in many other cases the way to make sure one person gets the "top job" is for this person to cumulate both roles. Up to 2006 LdM had the two roles but afterwards he kept only the President role (was that a demotion, to lose one of his roles???) while different CEO were appointed (2007 Todt, 2008-2016 Felisa).
That's why Ferrari has the position of President (Executive Chairman). In Europe, most companies have as their heads the President (or the Executive Chairman of the Board). The CEO is just the day to day manager, or as it used to be called, the Managing Director. FCA's and Ferrari's structure is clear. The President is the big boss, the CEO is the general manager. Luca had many positions, even the President of FIAT, answerring only to the Agnellis.
Pleeeeeeeease give some hints ..... I’ve ordered many colours over the years inc my own colour.... if the body shape allows , I’m seriously considering Bianco - possibly Fuji ...... or black ...... or red /blue..... just definitely not Grigio ! Lovely colour but never had a Grigio and trying to keep it that way -
Interesting it seems like day355 has been hinting that the 812VS has some relation to the 365 GTB/4 Competizione for some time or am I reading too much into it?
There is at least an F12 with those colours and exact livery. Tried a quick search, no quick luck, but there definitely are pictures in this forum somewhere.
Very true, the rear deck cut off on the 812 above the lights is very similar to the Daytona, and of course having the quad round taillights.
Yes, just like, in my opinion, the rear of the F 12 TDF reminds that of the 250 GTO. The problem with the Superfast is that the rear is too heavy and the front lights are too Japanese. The front lights of the Monza are better, because classic while being modern ...
I guess at the rear 812VS could have something in common with the last two "one off"......Deborah and Omologata I bid one "espresso".....one of the lunch color will be yellow
It’s going to be an incredible car and many of us will lust after one! Being allowed to order one is a different story.
