Wondering would anyone be able to post their photo at the same stage. Just a bit worried about possibility of my car having a GPF and this photo came in this morning. There looks to be some kind of heat protection under the seating area, is this normal?

Actually have found a few photos now and looks to be the same as a car produced a couple of months back.
Next question, how long from this point to car being ready to ship!

    What stage are you at?

Dealer tells me I am at stage 30 and I haven’t even received anything at all on myFerrari.

No pictures. No 812 in my garage section.

I think my pictures were a couple of weeks behind where it was on line. Mine went from stage 30 to 70 in a couple of weeks. It was at the picture stage where you are about 3 weeks ago. Now arrived at dealers. I am in UK so only took around a week or so I think from stage 70 to arriving at dealers.

Looks lovely congratulations. My dealer (Spain) is saying Sept delivery. I'm hoping it will be sooner but I guess it depends if the car gets out before the August shutdown.

Guys how long did you typically wait for the photo between Stage 30 Paint and Stage 50, assembly line engine/transmission? Been crossing my fingers I've missed the GPF switch over.

You seem to be the GPF expert! See my post above this, do you think my car will have it or not? Paint photo came in Friday 21st June. Any thoughts?

I got the "Your 812 Superfast completed" update photo on 4April and took delivery (in California) almost exactly 2 months later on 6June. The paint shop photo was made available 2-3 days sooner than the "completed" photo.

I'm sure it's any time now. Hell it could be done already. I believe the variable is how often the photos get uploaded.

Your photo looks just like others, so apparently no GPF intended.

The best idea I have is to reach out to your dealer, they have access to more details that 'my ferrari app', and get the build summary, updated to show dates of each stage.

If you car is already at or past Stage 50, I believe no GPF will be fitted.

Let us know what you find out.

    Ciao

My 812 is due for September delivery (UK) and I have just found out that the car is Status 30 (Paint) and will not have GPF Fitted.

As the factory is open until the end of July i guess it is possible the car will be build complete before close so maybe not a 2020 Model Year?

Just had an email from my dealer. My car is Stage 70 now. I would guess that it will not have the GPF. Time will tell!

agreed, given standard paint and normally available interior options, an 812 build can progress from Status 30 through Status 50 (engine installed, body on) in less than 2 weeks if the factory so chooses, you might ask your dealer if your car has the model year assigned, if so that will be the ultimate indicator

My car is standard paint and interior so could be fairly quick. I will update as and when i know more.

Nice! If the timing is like mine your car was probably at this stage about a week ago or so.

Yes- I got the first pic last week, the one of the body in primer on the line. Still concerned about the GPF issue.

Can your dealership find out which model year your 812 is? One detail that has nevertheless been clear to me is when the serial number is assigned during the build process. With your car's assigned serial number you would know which model year you are receiving. Good luck!

One thought about all these "progress" photos:

Maybe the factory should put a copy of today's newspaper in the photo to "prove" (like kidnappers do) production is really happening and the photo is not someone else's car that is the same color. I sense in all these production photo threads that the wait is agonizing in an information vacuum.
