The last few years I have been looking at a 812SF. it has only been very recent I started looking seriously at the GTS too. At the risk of sounding a bit daft. As I have no real idea what MSRP was on these cars Are the current used market GTS in Europe priced (still) above sticker? If so. By how much on average do you think? And how would you see them going in the next 12-18months? Would it be a wise time to buy one now? Have the already come down a bit? I gave been eyeing an AP and/or Patek for some time now too, and am certainly glad I did not buy one of those about a year ago any help would be greatly appreciated. kind regards
They have come down a bit but I have yet to see one go for under sticker, but I may be wrong cause I don't really keep close track of it. Maybe a higher mile first year super basic 'stripper' spec might get somewhat close to original msrp. All the cars have been built now so whatever the supply is it will never increase, the only variables left are the overall economy and if the F167 drivetrain will be a mild hybrid or actual hybrid. If it's a mild a lot of folks are going to talk themselves that that still represents NA and the 812 isn't the last Ferrari NA V12, if it is an actual hybrid then I don't see GTS prices going much lower from here. Who really knows? If you love the thing losing money on it won't matter much, if you're doing as a value proposition then your guess is as good as anyone's. The 812 in both variants are epic, the GTS is incredibly special with the addend domeless experience, just whichever one you want and don't sweat the money ... at that price point a few pennies on either side are small percentages, the experience of driving these cars may be the best discretionary money ever spent.
just curious why did you black out your rims? from a design standpoint it basically looks like your car has no wheels or tires at all like it was stripped in the hood and left on cinder blocks to me. the purpose of the wheel arches and wheels is to balance that black void.
from a design standpoint i don't think blacked out wheels look good on any vehicle. as a matter of personal taste i stand by it. i also think alcantara is the snake oil for the modern sports car enthusiast and that you would save more weight going on a diet than spending thousands on carbon fiber interior parts. but you know one man's trash is another man's treasure... so i'm asking what he likes about it.
I didn't black them out, Ferrari did and it looks fantastic in my opinion. I can't get down with those ugly chrome wheels. Too much bling for me.
black looks perfect on that car, chrome or even like gun metal/grey would look odd as close to body, but not exact.
I doubt there is a single person who give a f*** to what you see and your opinion. Maybe find another thread to troll.
One man's trash is another man's treasure, you said, after you complained about black rim and why you don't like them. Are you saying his black rim is trash? If you are genuinely interested to know of his opinion about his own car, having more tact in how you approach the question will be beneficial. To me, you acted like a troll pretending to be sophisticated.
Immediately commenting negatively on the design of a fellow owners spec’d Ferrari. Geez. Have some tact.
How about some early morning positivity. Btw G, I think your car looks incredible and you have impeccable taste
