Wade, Is this going to be a restoration or are you going to update a few things? In my thread restoration of #21039 '77 308 GTB, we took out the sodium valves, high compression pistons, and went to a racing radiator (larger). These few changes made the car fantastic. We also deleted all the DOT crap. It's a great thread, keep going!

100% original nut and bolt restoration, and this is a euro dry sump so no DOT crap to worry about.

    Great thread.
I'm following a similar body restoration in Melbourne.
Are you going to expoxy resin fine tissue paper over the entire body before recontouring the body with filler? I have heard this is the best method for eliminating minor stress cracks and keen to hear your thoughts.

    Hi Wade,

your Vetroresina has Chassis # 20751
I discovered a Dutch Dry sump Vetroresina with first rosso corsa paint, black leather interior, factory delivered without airco and even still it's first original road registration and plates since it left factory to be delivered by the Dutch Ferrari dealer Kroymans.
And, ( I thought this is something to smile ) it carries the # 20157.

    Wish you good luck.
    Best

    Hello Wade,
    congrats, a nice project car.
It seems to have the rear US bumper, side indicator holes and a wet sump engine wich should determ it as a non euro Vetroresina.
Many 308's were imported from the states to the Netherlands.
Never the less it'll be another rare Vetroresina preserved.

    Good luck with it.

    Best Marcel
