Anyone seen the article in Auto Express about This.

Confirming rumours that Ferrari plan to produce a new Super Enzo, this 1:43 scale model - created by Japanese based Romu - reveals how the full size version will look when it arrives in 2007. That car will cost £700,000 and gets aerodynamic bodywork and a rear spolier. Power will come from a 7 litre V12 with around 700bhp, giving the super Enzo 220 mph potential'

That's... hideous. Looks like it's trying to follow the F50 GT but it doesn't suit the Enzo's lines.

I personally think that it makes an already ugly car even worse ( IMHO )

I'm a little skeptical. Wasn't there an interview within the last few months that had someone important talking about the Super Enzo? This doesn't seem so far off base except for the fact that they said they could do what the Enzo did without going so form follows function with it. They could make a smoother car next time around.

Obviously there is nothing to make them stick to that, but even if you you like the look of this model it still doesn't seem to follow the all the guidelines set out in that article.

They need a slightly bigger rear spoiler as this one looks kinda small.

Mmmmm, looks like a customer race car to me, designed for privateers that want to go racing in FIA GT for example. The previous 400 Enzos are the homologation models, so this probabaly wouldn't be road legal, and your current Enzo owner shouldn't be too p1ssed off cos he wouldn't be able to drive this one on the M4 anyway.

Wait a minute - you all seem to be judging the picture posted by spidermanuk. The picture I saw of the Super Enzo in Auto Express didn't look anything like that...

    I can't post it because I'm a tight wad - I read it in the newsagents !

Well Mr. Meanie Tight Wad Skinflint Long Pockets, I posted EXACTLY what Reggie referred to, P20 Auto Express issue 853 dated 13-19 April 05!
I strongly suggest next time you loiter in W.H.Smith reading cr*p motoring publications on the cheap, you take a small, empty Starbucks cup and plead for a few coppers to go towards a visit to Specsavers and the excellent book; Improve your memory skills by Ivor Gett.:D

I STILL don't read Auto Express, I just subscribe and wait for proper Gentlemen like Reggie to point out the interesting bits!:D

My mistake it was autocar not auto express - see the picture a few replies down the thread, which as I mentioned looks very different to the the one pictured earlier.

I don't know you - maybe you could ease back on the smart-ass insults, no matter how many grins you use I still don't like it.

    Unreserved apologies!

It was merely an attempt at humour and light-hearted banter, the smilies were used to emphasise this.
I merely responded in a similar style to your post, I did not intend to offend, nor insult you. If I did, which I clearly have, please accept my apology.
