After a 5yr service and new tires, the rough ride as you originally described essentially disappeared. I assume the technician tightened everything up and the car was a joy to drive.
I think you would have known about it if the suspension joints weren’t tight! New tyres can make a big difference in this regard though, so likely that’s it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

In my case I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong. On the 612 I have Michelins and the date codes are from 2017 and 2018. Next to it sits my 550 with the same Michelins (albeit 18's) with date codes from 2016 and 2017...and it rides well and quietly. My 599 (which rides as expected) isn't here to check but to test whether it is the tires making causing the issue on my 612...will 599 wheels/tires fit on the 612 for a quick and easy swap and test? Thanks in advance.
Marc- Affirmative, 599 front wheels are identical and backs are 1" wider, but still fit fine and are in use by dozens of 612 owners.
I have 20" on my 612. The ride is very comfortable. So that should not be the problem. Verstuurd vanaf mijn J9210 met Tapatalk
Have the car back and the issue with the honking shocks is solved. Shocks and joints were ok but were now treated with WD-40, that’s it Further the wheel geometry got adjusted and fresh tyres. That solved the rough ride and side slipping. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
And i put the wheel spacers from novitec. This really makes a big difference of the look Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have this same issue, honking and rough rear at slow speeds. This car has been very firm since I got it a couple months ago but really noticed the rough rear at slow speeds a couple days ago. Might be the colder temps now and it seems to get better as car warms up. Has anyone found the culprit since the original post?
I never did. Seems to go away after a bit on a drive. Could it get adaptive steering that starts out rough?
