I'm looking at a 2005 612 for sale. The prior owner (to the seller) changed out the single din OEM radio to a double din Kenwood. Looks like it was done well but I do not want anything not oem. Can anyone tell me what cutting or mods would likely have been done for the double din install? Thoughts on how hard to go back?

NONE of the original parts or radios came with the car.

    Thanks......

To go back to original, you need a new/used center console. The console contains a single DIN radio slide and a plastic door. Behind the door there are 5 slides to put CD'S in.

It is a not hard DIY job to do.

I have an original radio avaiable. But I am not sure if there are differences between Europe and the rest of the world.
