^ you mean president of 1/2 america....
I was just wondering as I get all the fancy paddock invites etc. But guys here is my bolt , thats got to amount to something! I even have a tuxedo! I wanted to meet Meagn Fox! Did anyone on this list get to attend? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Robert, I just had that bolt replaced at PENSKE-WYNN. Hate to tell you it was about $12 you didn't pay $100 did you ? I gave the old one to some guy looking through the window into the shop with his family. cheers
Bill, They were the top shock bolt and yes I got reamed on that one. I have been lucky to have had good friends that work with parts but this was not one of my better deals. They were pretty so I photographed them as on my car they are the only bolts with a horse on them and typically Italian they are completely invisible you have to even loosen them by feel if I remember. That said at least they were the correct part I once ordered a bolt and got a nut which was the correct part number just superseded! HA
Do you plan to upload the entire parade to youtube? If not, please consider doing so. So far no one has uploaded much of anything re the parade and I'm sure all the owners would like to see their car and all the others in motion. I guess I expected FNA to do something, but so far nothing. Jim
It is a series of shorter clips as the cars came in little groups from Wilshire up Camden. If you PM me your email address I can email you the clip with your car.
oh well, the guy that I gave mine to was so excited he said he had a cabinet with lots a little ferrari things in it .... I never got so many thank you's for such a little thing even his two daughters saying thank you thank you thank you. Don't feel too bad we had a pool going in the shop trying to guess what this bolt was going to cost because of the horse on it. the range was from $25 up to $45 the parts manager said Ferrari is going to be very proud of this whenever he says that it's usually very expensive. Needless to say we were all very surprised. cheers, Bill
I know how this kid feels. That was me 40 years ago. Standing in front of greatness. The first 24 of LeMans win for Ferrari. It was driven by Luigi Chinetti for 23 hours and 40 minutes. (I Photoshopped the drool coming out of the kids mouth. I just wiped mine on my sleeve) Image Unavailable, Please Login
OMG, A 1960 250 TestaRossa. I seriously had a "moisty". A car I have only seen pictures of and in videos. It is a work of art. Look at those CARBS!!! I am left handed too. That car was made for me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A 250 LM. Unbelievable. Man that thing is gorgeous. I just stood there in awe for a while. Thank God there is no such thing as film, 'cuz I would have run out a long time ago Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holy crap. Look at that thing! A 250 Monza. They only built 4... and I am 10 inches away from it. 4! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am so bummed I did not get the whole car in the shot. It was so bright out I could not see what I was shooting. The 288 GTO is one of my favorites. Look at that ass!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
LeMans winners. Over the loudspeaker they announced this was the largest collection of Ferrari 24 hours of LeMans winners ever assembled in one place. Just before this shot, the owner of the yellow 275 started it up and was revving the motor. I was so awe-struck that I forgot to record it. Let me just say...it sounded great!!! I am not really sure I like the new Ferrari F-60. I saw it off to the side before the big reveal. It will take a little getting used to. It does have the Fiat air scoops though. Man, I miss Montezemolo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
