Wow, after 7 hours of race, the six first GTs are in 3 seconds. And the overall leader is only 10 seconds ahead.

crazy finish in GT. AF Corse should be ashamed of themselves. fortunately, they didn't "win".

sad to see the 997's so far off the pace in GT :(

nice run by AJR and Townsend Bell in GTC, can't wait for the Evora they're running the rest of the year.

If Audi didn't send three cars to every race would they ever win anything? :p

btw did they ever explain what happened with the fuel nozzle on the Muscle Milk car? what a silly thing to happen after 11.5 hours of racing.

I am ashamed that Ferrari (AF corse) pulled, what is probably, the ugliest move in recent GT racing history. I mean having a car that is 90laps down try to slow down the leader at any cost is shamefull...and beneth them.

Nice thing about the race was that the ferraris were clearly in a place to dominate it, if it wasn't for the two fastest cars haveing problems early.

I went out to dinner last night and missed the finish. I just watched the replay and have to say that was the biggest dick move in a long time. If the BMW got wrecked there would have have fists flying.

I haven't kept up with this thread and didn't watch the entire race, but who was driving the #51 when they pulled that inexcusable move on the leader Joey Hand BMW? Gianmaria Bruni, Toni Vilander, or Giancarlo Fisichella? 92 laps down, I want to know who it is, they should be blackballed from racing forever.

It was Olivier Beretta in the #71 Ferrari that put Joey Hand off and they were battling for the win. It was not the #51 car as stated. The BMW's are MUCH faster than all cars out there and are sandbagging and keeping it close the whole race until the end

No, everyone was confused to that, even Joey. 71 was 3 cars back and spun after going off to avoid the dodging. 51 went on and then Joey caught last corner thinking it was the 71, but it was clearly the 51 in video 92 laps down. Remember 71 finished 3rd with vette between, look how many seconds it finished back.

Sorry I missed your post. I was already on my way to Sebring :(

I had bought a commemorative poster in 1996 for the Inaugural Brickyard 400 which ran in 1994. For fun I challenged myself to get it autographed by all the drivers in that race. It has been quite the scavenger hunt over the last 16 years and of the 43 drivers I only have 3 left to get. They are Rich Bickle, Mike Chase and Geoff Brabham.

I was excited to learn that Geoff Brabham would be at Sebring and I was looking for the best opportunity to find him at the track. As it turned out the nice gentleman that organized the Sebring Hall of Fame autograph session was actually at the Inaugural Brickyard 400 and he assured me Mr. Brabham would be signing in the afternoon.

I was able to get him to sign it and he thought it was a pretty cool idea, thought I was crazy for attempting it and then wished me luck in getting the last two :)

It was a pretty mixed group of drivers in that race and here's the list for those that might be interested.

I had a really great time at Sebring. Lots of action on and off the track and just enough
distractions to keep things exciting without getting out of control. I arrived about 6:30 am on Friday and was able to get a prime parking spot
which proved to be invaluable as a home base when moving between the paddock and prime viewing spots along the track.
A steady cool breeze kept the day from becoming a scorcher and I don't think I could've walked the miles I did without it :)

I took a bunch of pictures and video while roaming the track and I hope they are enough to convey what you might see at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
