    Hey Guys,
I just want to share the numbers that I did on my 599.

    60-100: 3.87
    60-130: 8.62

As you can see from the Vbox's telemetry, the dip in the acceleration represents each gearshift. My 60-100 times was on par with all of the magazines testing numbers, but my 60-130 time was a little bit slower. Since this was my first time at a drag strip, I didn't know what to expect. Looking at my times and comparing them to various magazine figures, I figure the 599 should be able to pull 60-130 in around 8.2-8.4 sec with better techniques. Do you guys know what is the optimal shift points for maximum mid range acceleration? I was shifting at the maximum rpm in each gear.

Btw, I had a 3/4 of gas on board and I was in the RACE mode, not CST.

What was your top speed on those runs--and how long was the track?

Well, since we were going for the 60-100 and 60-130 numbers, I didn't check my speed at the end of the straight. I was probably clicking 140 before I slowed down. Since I short shifted into second gear (I wasn't aiming for the 0-60 times), I'm pretty sure I could have reach 150 if I had used LC. I believe the track was half a mile long, but I'm not certain.
