Guys i was not saying a bad word about Zymol or Db valeting on here ,swissol and Zymol both give the same results for i have used both products and were happy with both, but i must admit swissol is easier to apply and buff up and have more products available but hey each to your own as long as you get the result thats all that counts.
Yes swissol Divine is refilled for life but i carnt see how you can get a much more better finish with an extra10% carnauba and justify the price of Royale,Dave is it that much better honestly ?
Also its how you actually detail the car as well to the finish you achieve and Dave is doing both ,good to know there is another good detailer around .

without a shadow of a doubt , si's car looked absolutely stunning ,not just in shine but how it enhanced the colour, you also have to look at the protection it provides , especially when built up, i dont think the pictures did it justice, I honestly thought you wouldn't top Vintage wax and questioned the extra 10% thing, but was wrong , whether it's worth 4 times the price is debateable , is it a better wax? Oh Yes !!!

Dave, do you read Autopia.org? Over there they all think any Zymol is overpriced and that they can get the same result from P21S (or whatever).

Simon, the Lambo looks fantastic, the pictures do it more than simply justice, I see the Lambo often enough as you drive passed where I work in Leeds, your car is sexy and chic and even without the wax it looks incredible, so imagine how it really looks now with the gleaming sunlight and in the pouring rain . I am new to ferrari chat, as a keen follow of super cars, its the friends in the business, iI suppose and I have never seen a Murcie, let alone a Lambo as chic looking as yours. Well done! Just leaves how you look to the imagination...

REgarding the cost that the product [ROYALE] costs 4 x more than the next best one the economic term
"the law of deminishing returns "
applies . This is that a product because it costs say 4 x more than its next product It needs not be 4 x ,as in this case as good.
    Is a 360 at £120 000 three times better than a porche boxter at £40 000?
The 360 is not 3x faster nor can it seat 3 x as many people
It is just a better car and thus those of us who can afford it will buy the better car
    Is a Pagani 4 x better than a 360....so the argument goes
The higher up the "quality" scale you go the dearer and the less value you get in return. So if you can afford it and you want the best Value does not come into the equation other wise we would all be buying £2000 MR2!!!! please god nooooo!

actually the autopia site is very interesting there is also a well known detailer who published a list of a complete trial done to evaluate car waxes from all the major brands and zymol was one of them.

    the criteria used were

    depth of shine
    longevity
    ease of application
    ect

price did not factor into the evaluation of30 waxes

Zymol was no 17 i think- way way down the list

it seems the preference for the best finish was to use a synthetic as a base zaino or klasse and then finish with a wiping wax such as P21s or pinna
    cle souveran

the result is a long lasting finish and you can reapply the wax easily every month or so, just wipe on wipe off.

one spends ones money and takes the choice but this zymol thing is crazy.

One deosntmind all the money of its the best but it isnt!

You did not mention what product you use on yor Ferrari M8

Thats only their opinion of i guess a fairly short time test I cant say ihave used all products tested as i have not but i have been using Zymol for a couple of years and its the best i have found . I dont polish otherpeoples cars for a living just my own ,I no its a bit pricey but i lasts a long time and you dont have to use £6 grand a tub ..Just MHO

Sorry to jump into the thread but I believe in that test the Zymol they used was not any of the "real" waxes they offer. I think it was the Cleaner Wax that they used and that's the stuff they sell in auto shops here in the US for about $6 a bottle.

This was an independant test done by a panel and the waxes tested were ital and another one from the main range of zymol- i cant rememebr which.

I used to use ital and vintage on my f car but once youve have used the synthetics as a base and then a carnuba top you would neevr go back. This is the expereince of detailers in the us who take it all very seriously!
