Someone wanted it who did not know what it was.
Ok - not because I’m interested in selling but because I’m really a manual fan at heart - what is involved in converting? I know finding parts, deleting the pump and actuator, likely some computer changes, etc...but are there any hidden larger mods that I’m not thinking of? Seems to me it would be at least relatively plug ‘n play, but I have exactly _zero_ experience with this kind of thing
I should add that I’m going to spend time with the car as-is before making any decisions. Sadly haven’t been able to drive it at all because the dealer sold it with a 90-day warranty and then dug their heels in for almost a month when it needed to be activated!
You need to find two Motronic ECUs for manual. There may be someone who can reflash the F1 ECUs, but have not heard about it yet. The 575M did not have the capability for OBDII/SD2 reflashes.
As a part time lawyer (ha) I will chime in with an opinion. Shoot me if some real lawyer comes along. I believe that if the car is represented as it is, and no misrepresentation has been made, all is well for the seller. Of course the problem arise in value of the two transmission options. Any used car buyer owes himself due diligence. Especially when talking low volume cars with easily traced history. If the car were represented as one, and offered as another, that is fraud. If the car is offered as as is, that is buyer beware. You cannot stick your head in the sand and use that as an excuse in the future It all comes down to the four corners of the sales contract. Even simple headed criminal lawyers know basic contracts law.
That being said, I also believe you cannot hide a known diffencent fault An argument can be made that represent a 6 speed vs f1 is different car That is real estate **** from 30 years ago on the bar Not sure how it works with cars I am a criminal lawyer I am too old too worrry about it
Of course notice of both seller, buyer and auction make it a no brainstorm If I were sell this car, I would say everyone is on notice. Due diligence required

I tried to buy this car in March 2015 from the selling dealer in Switzerland. He got cagey and sold to a trader in the UK who sold it on to a dealer who sold it, I think, to the current seller. I'm glad I didn't..the manual car I did buy, a month later, had FHP, was TDF (one of my favourite colours), and had 29k miles so I have no misgivings about driving it. This collectors piece will probably never be driven again. Wonder what it will sell for.
Darius- Maranello prices are all over the place now. No real clue. Look at what has happened with TR prices. Big ups and downs.
Hi guys, I recently bought a 575 with the HGTC pack. The shocks were gone and I had them replaced. However, I’m not sure my mechanic knows the settings for the HGTC suspension, ride height, etc. Would anyone have information on this setup or point me in the right direction? As always, my deep appreciation for the help and immense knowledge here.
They are in here somewhere. They were published in the early 2006 WSM for the 575M and Superamerica. Will dig them up for you in the next few days. I do not have a copy of that WSM.
Darius, you must have my car - blu TdF/cuoio, FHP, red calipers and 19" modular wheels? am sending you a PM
Sounds nice, Seth! No, mine is beige not cuoio, has a leather shelf but no modulars. FHP and red calipers, check.

575 Technical Thread FWIW 131554 was traded in to us recently. We are performing fluid/filter service, timing belt service, refinishing all the sticky trim, complete clutch kit w/ t/o bearing , complete car touch up ( rock chips ) , and a complete detail when we are through. Miles are at 10,537 as of today. I really like the uniqueness of the color combo in a sea of red in the shop! S
Steve- Very nice 575M. She should move quickly. I bought my 575M, 135171, from Boardwalk back in July 2008. Traded my 08 C6 Z06 Corvette with only 537 miles towards her. 131554, will be more images on Boardwalk's site: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could someone explain to me where the shock ECU is located on a 575M? Trying to figure out which version is in my 2003. Thanks in advance!
Somehow I am missing it. Is that the panel that flips down in front of the passenger footwell or a different one? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
