more parts to be ordered, safety oil switch in front of filters, $30 @ awitalia, 2 air filters $26.50 also same vendor. All the skinny 7 mm belts, found a vendor in Ohio, $11-$12 each !! waiting on an answerback....a/c belts to be found, and on it goes.

Hello, all... the v-belts have arrived, I have put over 25 miles on the odo driving around the neighborhood on the weekends, love the sound, it is a bit loud with just a resonator on the back, but I will live with it for now.
Of course driving it lets me discover that I have no boost for the brakes....the belts go on first and then I diagnose the booster, low vacuum or a mechanical problem at the booster, I don't know yet.
Ordered a personal plate for it, after 2-3 ideas settled on.........VEEEE12....
One choice was DOHCV12, but with the style of lettering on the plates, the "D" & "O" looked very similar, hard to tell at a distance.
I will be teaching this weekend, so maybe I can open the hood over x-mas, I have 4 days off then.

Thanks, we have had a few weeks of gray overcast, rainy, windy wet weekends....so I guess it was about time we had the nice weather, I grabbed the chance to get out of the garage.
