I am curious about BOTH..ROAD WHEELS & Steering Wheel possibilities for Thee's Cars.
Is there a Cool Steering Wheel, Wooden or Suede that is Available..something that
comes w/an Adaptor and wont inTerfere with the Built in Safety Technology, etc...?

I am also wondering about the Feasibility of CROMODORAs on a MARANELLO!
Bolt Pattern, Machining, Adaptors, i dont Know..., which is why i am Posting this...
Mike SayS that a MARANELLO would TEAR UP! Borranis, unfortunately,....
The FACTORY Wheels look somewhat 'Spindly' to me..sSo, i am EXPloring.
    Devotamente, g

Lots of threads here on road wheels, so do a search. A lot depends on your budget. Novitecs, BBS, plenty of others and, of course, all 575 wheels will fit the 550.

I know that the post screams "flake," but I thought I should give him the benefit of the doubt.

Leaving the corporate world for the bench required a substantial attitude/behavior adjustment. I have gained a zen-like calm, but I do miss the seafood salad lunches served to me on the Falcon 50.

My older brother is also in that line of work (among others he doesn't tell me much about specifically), although now retired. Among his long ago projects, he wrote the field operations manual for the M1A1 Abrams Tank and worked on the fix for the B1B swing wing, IIRC.

Cromodora is a wheel manufacturer who has been manufacturing wheels since 1962. They have made dozens of different wheel designs. If they made one of the correct diameter, width, and offsets, it will fit.

I saw ebay had some beautiful novitecs with almost new p-zeros. Bids up to $2700 didn't meet the reserve. It closed before I had a chance to bid.

Allan- Some really good prices on NF2s if you get lucky. My NF1s were only $2500. Unfortunately, they will not fit Maranellos.

Allan- All the NF2s are identical except they do make a 20" rear wheel for the F430 and 114.3 mm bolt circle wheels for the 612. The 360 and 575M wheels are identical and the F430 front wheels are the same as the 360/456/M/550/575M front wheels. That is why we have to put 25-30 mm spacers on the rear of Maranellos when you fit NF2s, and something similar for the 456/M.

Wish those had been available when I bought mine new, but I did get a great price on mine.

I was on a flight and screwed up my time zone calculations so missed the end of the auction. I contacted the seller to see if they would re-list, and he said he sold them for 4250 including shipping. Pretty good deal considering the rubber was still quite new.

As an FYI, I am selling a set of nearly new 19" HREs with Bridgestone RE-11s off my 550 on both Ferrariads and Ebay if you are interested.

I'm new to the 550. I have Novitech 19". My car came with no spacers. Everything fits and Novitech said that's ok.
    Thoughts ?

The Novitec wheels look nice. If spacers are used on the rear wheels does that increase the rear track over the front track? If yes, how does that affect handling, given that the factory setting is front-wider-than-rear? Wheel bearing life?

Terry- Does not affect either. The wheels are so wide, the spacers just get them back to pretty much mormal. I ran the same set of spacers on my OEM 18 " wheels and they looked better and had no negative affect on handling. Porsche offers spacers for most of their wheels as a factory option.
