    I call b*llsh*t on this "sale" RM Sotheby's complicit with the consignor and a desire to break the record price for a car sold at an online auction. Not buying it.

    I did the factory tour back in ?? I saw the 550 being built along with the Impreza WRC cars. As you’ve said, they were/are very special cars indeed.

    That car says Kirk White on the side. Is there more than one Kirk White / Penske Ferrari?

    Come on, overall lap time has close to 0 to do with the price.

    You buy this bc:

    Historic GT1 championships are and will be booming
    It's the last Ferrari V12 GT to have won a major 24h race
    It won a lot of races in period
    It was dominant

    Any F1 will be much faster but im guessing it's a completely different level of commitment both in running costs and physical requirements

    I wonder how much would the Le Mans in class winning 550 fetch.
