    Hi forum, hope someone can help me here.

    I recently turned the car on (battery switch) and suddenly when I turn the car off and take key my parking light are on in front and rear of car and “P” green light left of steering wheels is on.

    I have tried pressing the parking light on middle of roof but that does not seem to do anything.

    Any help is greatly appteciated.

    Common issue ..the "p" switch breaks internally....sometimes the arm inside can be bent back but sometimes it is broken

    This is a pic of when I took mine apart ..as you see what broke..maybe in this day and age 3d printing can recreate that tiny piece ..use to be a bmw switch could be used as a donor for internal parts Image Unavailable, Please Login

    I rebuilt one as a spare using a hazard switch from a BMW - older model

    Thanks for quick reply all … very helpful. Another question. Is there easy way to remove the green parking indicator switch from dash? Does it just pull out from front or do I have to get behind the dash?

    It is press fit with tabs .. getting behind it (not hard ) may be required if tabs have to be compressed to pull out..
