What brand and type of battery would have come from the factory in a 512BBi? Any old, never driven, trailer queen out there still got the original in it?
When I go started in the early 80's, it was not uncommon to see FIAMM batteries in these cars...I vaguely remember Varta batteries, but I might be confusing what might have been in the same period German cars.
If it is same as Lambo had, black battery, yellow "FIAAM" logo front of it, in yellow sircule. My car has White FIAAM battery, but it is more resent.
According to the owner manual of both 365 GT4 BB and 512BB the battery is Marelli 6ATM 15YA. The battery is not specified on the 512 BBi owner manual.

Maybe the battery is nothing too exotic here. My 86 TR came with a Delco Freedom battery, the one with the green eye. The owners manual only describes this as a "Freedom Battery."
