    With the upcoming visit from the 50th Anniversaty 599 expected in November, it has been discussed that we may want to attempt to put together a 50 years of Ferrari Photo Op.

    Think we could pull it together before November 10th?

    Here's the list that would need to be filled. I think we would want the " best " example of from each year and could be discussed in the open forum, but filling all 50 spots would be the key.

    So if you would be interested and/or know someone that could fill a spot, please post up for discussion!

    As long as it's open to non-Ferrari owners, I'm down to come out.

    Earlier this year, the PCA Maverick Region did something similar with each year of the 50 years that Porsche has produced cars.

    I was there and didn't think it was well put together.


    If you do this, please make a show out of it. It'd allow anyone to take pictures and enjoy 50 years of Ferrari as much as the owners.

    Would you be taking the picture on the lawn next to the dealership?

    I know a guy with access to a 512M or two. It could be considered the best of it's year. ;)

    You probably don't want a bunch of 3x8s in the picture, but if you need something to fill 1985 I can bring my Rossa Corsa 308 GTS QV.

    I wasn't there for the actual photoshoot but I was there early during the day. Alot of cool P-cars showed up including a 964 Carrera RS (we got the RS America, not the Carrera RS).

    Why not? For the longest time, those were the only legal imports, and certainly the rides that kept Ferrari afloat.

    That's what I'm thinking! ( Might be the 1:64 Hot Wheel edition though )

    This is the event being discussed. This is a FCA event, that we are working to support.

    I don't know why everyone couldn't come out, they would just have to park on the other side of the building... like at the Spring car show.

    It depends on who FCA choses the demographic to be. I don't think the Porsche event was ever meant to be an all out everyone come and see event. ( Was it? ) I didn't go, so I have to rely on your view.

    But yes, it's being discussed that if we could get all 50 years in Ferrari to show up, that it could be held on the lawn.

    I know , I know... ( grin )

    HE's the one we're thinking of, now WHICH one would he bring, that's the question!

    Sure we do, I think the hard part will be chosing which car to put in it's " year " slot.


    I'm thinking it would be very interesting to get this group together for this cause!


    ## NOTE: This is a charity event for the Ronald McDonald house, so I would expect some type of donation would be in order. Maybe " A dontation of $xx.xx to take pictures " or a donation of $xx.xx to get a poster, shirt, post card, etc of the group....

    I'm happy to join with my '87, but the anti-color on its flanks might screw up the the balance of all the rosso corsa in the picture.

    Also, there is talk of a parade drive from Boardwalk Ferrari to the Ronald McDonald House to show the kids the cars ( Since they are in poor health, they may only be looking from inside the hospital outside where the cars are parked )

    The porsche event used a big open parking lot for the shoot but had another parking area for people not in the show (mostly porsche guys but some non owners).
    It was an enthusiast show sort of.

    I hope the 50 year show is open to the public (mandatory donation isn't a bad idea. ~$15 sounds like a good idea)
