I think last count was 9 wrecked and 6 burned (for various reasons.)
Not very auspicious for a brand new model.

If I was stuck driving a Audi, oops, "Lamborghini" I would look for any excuse that made me feel better about it to. LOL

You could throw in a mobile fire alarm with every purchase.

According to WreckedExotics, there have been 12 total 458 crashes,however,1 shouldnt count because it was done as an official crash test conducted by Ferrari. All but 2 have been in Europe. Those other 2 happened in Costa Mesa,CA and Ningbo,China.

I don't know what is more surprising, the people driving by as if it only has its hazard lights on, or the fact its next to a strip mall and no one brought out a fire extinguisher.

Why waste the extinguisher? You would need a LOT of them to put that out...one or two, even three is like pissing on a bonfire.

Why is there apparently so much animosity between the fans of various road car marques?

I myself tried to make light of the 458 fire situation, but the tone was more a "you have to laugh or you'd cry" post of fellowship. If that's your intended tone as well, you may want to clarify.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Well I just looked at your links...no I dont think it is funny..thats WHY I removed my LOL, but the better question is HOW would you know that..do you have some acess to things other board people dont?

And OF COURSE I as the "Local" Lambo champion would post anything that is negative about the the other brand...seriously you dont think so..? Tjhat is called on-going rivelry...and lucky NO One has been injured, in either a Lambo fire or a Ferrari fire.

I guess I could start building my own car...but I would probably get told..

"What do you know...you are a Fire Alarm Compoany owner, stick to building your Fire Alarms"

    SEE, now that's FUNNY IMO

    Edited out the LOL?

In that thread but it's still in this one.

    "NO One" injured?

An Fchatter died in a crash that caused his car to catch on fire.

As for "How would I know?" Are you saying I'm wrong that a Lambo you sold or were about to sell didn't burst into flames all by itself?

Personally I think far too many Ferrari's and Lambo's have burnt up and Personally I don't find it funny or something to Gloat about.

NO NO NO you cant split hairs if the post isnt going your way..

No one hurt..? Correct...NO ONE has been hurt or injured DUE to the fire of any of these cars...including mine..so DONT turn it around that they "had" an accident and then it burned..not the same thing.

As far as HOW did you know..read it again..I am asking HOW did you know I had LOL in there and removed it prior to the post..I thought ONLY Mods could see behind the screen here..so I was asking do you have some extra power or seeing into this thread that us others dont have...not being a mod..?

And as far as "glutting" come on...the shoe is on the other foot now...and it seems people can hand it out but cant take it..should we go back to all the threads against a Lambo you have and others have jumped on rapidly...

There will always be back and forth on the various brands..life goes on it is just a frickn car...and for the most part..they are ALL over priced

possibly Roy he had been auto informed of your post with an email and then you edited it afterwards. I always get email notifications from people and go to respond when they have since edited. Most likely the case. I don't believe he has super powers :)

It's sad they have burned. Didn't a number of 430's do the same at first launch? I don't remember the reason for those either.

Has Ferrari made any announcements to the problem? Are they just calling it driver error or are they not even acknowledging the fires?
