Thread of the month, year, decade... AMAZING!!! Thank you guys! Sorry to say that "F131 EVO" is just the factory code for the 430 (360 was F131), so I bet that was a normal F430, and it looks like it. I've seen other pics of F430s with bumper protectors that read F131 EVO. However, for the modified Enzo, you guys hit the spot, that must be it. I've read around Fchat about some apparently standard Enzos with the engine tuned by Ferrari factory to 790 HP, then about this one you mention, and also about a more modified bunch of Enzos with around 800 HP and different aerodynamics, etc. The Enzos with 790 HP seem to actually exist, also the one you photographed. Maybe the rest is rumour?
Thanks for compliments!! Yes I heard that this morning too. No problem, still nice spot. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134893312&postcount=107
Great thread with great pictures! What more can I say? I made the pilgrimage myself a couple of years ago when I was on holiday in Italy. I wish I had known about the hotspots for seeing Ferraris on the road back then. Much to my disappointment Fiorano remained empty during that day as well. I'm going back there one day. Hopefully with a big load of cash, because the Ferrari store looked terribly tempting! I won't forget visiting Violati's Maranello Rosso collection either... *bangs head on desk*
@@Roel@@ Dude, I'm lost for words.... This was an AMAZING set of pics from your Italy Tour 05 I hope you'll win the "Thread Of The Month" you deserve it, Damn, so many wonderful pix in one thread... It's too hard to pick out a favorite, but that Orange 6.0 VT was a BLAAAAAST!!!!! That car GOTTA be God's Se7en'th Master Peice ! My only quiz would be: Who is who??( ..."who made you?" LOL) (AC/DC) The guy with the blond hair is...??? The guy with the glasses is....??? (NOT you though) Thanx for posting man! Paul
You guys really made my day! I will vote this thread to be the THREAD OF THE YEAR. Great adventure! Ton
Thanks Ton, 100% agree with that. Just think about: going on a trip like that with 4 other people only knowing them from a Ferrari forum....... I have 3 belgium friends now.....never thought that could happen
LOL I will never say that again!!! Great to see so many positive reply's from all over the world in this thread! Yes, we really had a wonderful time!
Awesome pics!!!!! Really wish i could have joined you guys!! Maybe next year!! BTW: that F131EVO car is indeed just the codename of the 430! I really hope that Ferrari builds a new CS though! Guy
Thanks Guy Yes, of course we knew that F131 was the codename of the 430... but didn't know yet that "EVO" was part of that too... Therefore we thought it was an evolution of the F131 (or F430 official), also because the name was embossed in the front grill. Looks now like F131 EVO indeed always has been the full and correct codename, different then the ones from the previous models where it was just F130 (360), F129 (F355), aso...
Here you go, from left to right in the Cavallino bar... Roel (Dino 208gt4) the starter of this wonderful thread, Joren (Remans), Bert (Bertus), me Alexander (alx355gt), and Waldo (ForzaFerrari).
It sure was one of the best weekends i have ever spent. Allready the first day in Maranello exceeded all my expectations, even though i had allready been there once. The visit to San Marino was also better than my last visit there and the Imola GP was the best live F1 race i've seen. Roel, Alex, Waldo and Joren, you were great company! Count me in for next year
358 pictures so far.... Thanks Roel for this great thread! It was an absolutely fantastic weekend with you guys. The trip started at Roel's house with some dutch coffee and it finally ended at Roel's house with some dutch coffee.... We have enjoyed 4 days of deep Ferrari passion, Italian driving style, sensual women, good cuisine and liquids and ...... a fake Rolex My deepest regrets goes to these persons who had to sit at the back seat of the Benz while driving down from San Marino historical centre..... My garage master told me that we were very lucky that we didn't get a blown tire.... For safety reasons he decided to put some new shoes on the car The Formula One race really was one of the most exciting of the last years! I really understood it once I was back in Belgium, everyone I talked to who saw the race was full of enthusiasm and I got reply's like "wow, you have been there???!!!" Once more, thanks for the great trip and for the established friendship through Fchat! Somebody once told a couple of hundreds years ago : "In life you have to create memories". It worked out pretty good I think..... Forza Ferrari ! Cordiali saluti, Joren REMANS
Ran out of fuel, while the onboard computer told that there was still for 70 km in the tank. I know it's stupid, but i missed the gas station before because i was telling some p u s s y story
