Kudos to Daniel and the crew for putting on such an enjoyable event! I had a great time even though I drove solo. Next year I'll make sure that both the wife and I are there in her Mini Cooper (or something just as fun?). Had the window rolled down during parts of the rally just to hear the beautiful noise being made by that red 355 in front of me! Here's a few shots from my camera. I'm already looking forward to next year!

That was an AMAZING time! I enjoyed looking at all the cars, and I enjoyed hearing them leave too! They sounded AMAZING. I've never really seen such cars up close, and thanks for being so welcoming. I enjoyed talking to everyone, and I am glad I took the 3 hour trip up there! I woke up at 6:30 this morning to get up and ready.

HaHaHa...another "deliverance" rally! Heh boy, you look mighty cute in them jeans...come on over here... (Eddie Murphy, some of ya'll know the rest)

 

No city street is gonna slow me down! Hehe... I had a great time at the event today... my girlfriend and I made it back up to DC safely about an hour ago. I was happy to finally meet everyone. Would definitely love to show up for many more whenever I can!

By the way, thanks Bruce for giving up your map yesterday! We were glad to have one, and also glad that you are good with direction so you didn't need it. Lots of fun!

 

I second Daniel's comments about Haystack and River roads. Following behind the red F355 I made the trip down those "elusive" roads and they were the best stretches of the entire rally. Well worth the 20 minutes or so it took to cover them.

By Cameron's photo of the F50 I take it he and his friend made it by Foreign Cars Italia on the way back. Glad my directions didn't get you lost Cameron!

Where are the pictures of the Golf Course concours.

 

Which I must admit, was a good call, I had their salad, with chicken, which was great. My friend had the steak and cheese, he enjoyed the ketchup that they made (which he probably liked the beer in it :\) overall it was a very nice place.

The only thing I thought was bad, was that the parking was kinda bad, I was LUCKY I got my parking spot right infront of the brewery, I had originally parked down a block at some ghetto looking shop on a hill.

 

looks like you all had a great time! i am sorry that i was not able to get out for the longer drive but i did have alot of fun joining you all at starbucks and seeing friends and meeting new folks as well.

what a nice diverse group of kewel cars too! really nice to see tom jones, tom's son, wade, brian c. and of course daniel too.

it was also a great excuse to get the boxer out for a nice 50 mile run...i know , i know....should have gone on the full drive. next time!!!!!

Not a problem. I am usually pretty good at directions even without a map and in the middle of nowhere. Later in the rally I got the hang of finding the roads and kicked it up a notch.
I bet the locals thought we lost our minds when they saw a bunch of Ferraris out in the middle of a Cemetary with people wandering around with pieces of paper and a pencil. LOL.
I had a great time which the roads where fantastic and the scenary of the mountains and Ferraris where spectacular. The Steak and cheese was great at Foothills Brewery and the waitress was cute too .
