This year we're mixing it up a bit. We'll meet at the Starbucks in Statesville again, but our final destination is not Bermuda Run Country Club. New food, new venue... but another exciting, gorgeous drive through North Carolina.

We had something like 85 attendees and 60 cars last year. Can we beat those numbers? I think so! CAFE, FCA, PCA, whatever... saddle up and prepare for a fantastic drive.

More details to come. Once again, this will be a heavily subsidized event where your $5 entry fee is all that you need. :)

    Specific call outs:

    1. Cperry -- in the Blue Diablo... we need you back!
    2. JStaf -- don't we need to meet your new back seat driver?
    3. KevinF -- Still waiting for some help !
    4. ScottK -- Need some better rally directions!
    5. DougK -- Burnout space will be provided at our final destination.
    6. NathanA/DrS -- come down off that mountain top and join us
    7. ferraripete -- bring the P, this drive is too many miles for the Box!!
    8. JM (David) -- Maybe FoW can deliver to Starbucks instead of Biltmore?
    9. ChrisM -- Z car or 360, it's all good!
    10. more more more...

More information to come. Saturday June 2. Mark your calendars.

As always, kids and spouses are strongly encouraged to attend. Heck, I think we even had Rubino's dog come along two years ago!!

I see no reason why Rick, Trevor, and myself won't be there. I assume we will bring the E34 M5 as well.

I will be leaving for Germany on the 2nd... :( I'll do my best to make up the driving with a day at VIR when I get back! ;)

Have fun everybody, it was awesome last year; the front of my Z became another addition to the NC Wildlife Museum network. I scored three birds and dozens of bugs!

Laguna del Roebling toro Watkins. Sounds like a great track, lots of history... kinda surprised I haven't heard of it before... is it in the area? and how much does it cost to rent for the day?

    hehe

Daniel, what's the schedule? I would have to be back home by 5:00, but maybe I can get in for the morning and head out after lunch?

No problem with that schedule, J.

Meet in Statesville around 8:30am-9:00am. Drive, and finish in Winston Salem around noon for a leisurely lunch. You should be on the road home by 2:30pm

MGD416 (Matt) will probably want to go. I dunno if he can drive, so I hope someone from Charlotte can give him a ride if they need a co-pilot. Even if he can drive, I'm sure he would be very grateful to spend the morning in a Ferrari! I hope someone can hook him up. :)

I would like to come out there to see all those cars, but I'd hate to crash the party seeing as I have nothing CLOSE to exotic.

Perhaps I can go in several years, after I go through college and become an anesthesiologist.

I'd love to go on a run like that, but it most certainly wouldn't be fun in a F-150.

If anyone needs a co-pilot I would be glad to come haha.

Cameron you can show up to the destination and look at the cars if you can't find a ride. I'm sure nobody will mind at all, and would probably welcome you.

I'd be glad to come, cars are my passion. The trouble is getting my parents to let me drive 4 hours to statesville.

Personally I would be willing to drive all day to see cars like yours (I love the lotus). But I would travel cross country to see a Lamborghini. I've never seen one.

I want to see what I can do, as it would be my first exotic "car show". I've been to several other car shows nothing too special, had a Shelby Cobra and a Ferrari 360 Spider (drop dead sexy).
